sit up and take notice

I always feel bad when I put up a string of poems by the same author; I discover someone and blaze through what I can find of theirs and can’t help but show you what I like. sorry, guys. I’m reading a book of poetry by Bukowski right now, if you couldn’t tell (“what matters most is how well you walk through the fire”), and every fifty pages or so I see something I have to share with you. when I have a minute sometime soon, I’ll make a list of author/book/poetry recommendations that I’ve read recently - so you can check them out yourself if you’re interested, and I can stop transcribing every other page.

however! for all the poetry I read, there are still, I know, massive gaps in my knowledge. what authors/works have I been neglecting / should I take a look at?
